Born in Long Beach, California and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Max Tarlton graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Journalism.

While a broadcast journalist, Max embedded himself in cities across the country including: Chicago, Yuma, Omaha, and Monterey. During that time, he has covered multiple presidential and local elections, immigration on the US/Mexico border, transportation in the Midwest, natural disasters in California including: wildfires, flooding and mudslides. After more than a decade working in front of and behind the camera as a broadcast journalist, Max switched gears and moved to the tech space as a people innovation leader and consultant working with AI technology and analytics. Max worked directly with call centers around the world with tailor-made compendiums to perfect the customer experience and processes for companies including: American Express, AAA Life Insurance, Synchrony Bank, and Marsh Mclennan to name a few.

Max also had the opportunity to be a mentor director for a teen production of “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” and hopes to continue with other theater and acting endeavors in the future.
